About me
Freetext "about me" in english
Chuck’s passion since he was a child has been music and drumming, although his soul chose a family that discouraged his drumming interests. At age 24 he left his engineering career with General Motors, bought a touring motorcycle, and roamed the United States for four months of reflection and rebirth. Since 1992, Chuck has made a life in music, bringing people together in the shared joy of West African drumming. He carves and repairs drums, teaches, performs, records, and has drummed for births. Chuck studied at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing from 2003-2007, graduating and opening a healing practice. He attended a Constellations seminar in 2009 and received a profound healing related to his mother’s lineage. He and his wife, Kelly, earned three-year facilitator certificates through Peter and Jamy Faust’s Constellation Approach in 2014. Chuck is a former national board member and current co-facilitator of the Atlanta chapter of Coming to the Table, an organization dedicated to healing the legacies of racism and slavery in the United States, and he serves as a consultant to Equitable Dinners and iChange Collaborative, DEI and social justice organizations in Atlanta.
