I am free spirit, a wife and mother of two, being in academia for 25 years working as professor of psychology, researcher and practicing psychologist, initially trained as psychoanalyst, followed by CBT training (and some more), combining the knowledge, experience and skills from wide range of therapeutic approaches and techniques with body-oriented practices and yoga. I work with students at the university and with adults in counseling/therapy. My approach can be seen as a combination of many things based on the need of the client, although humanistic setting, systemic approach and psychodynamic understanding are must. The philosophy behind everything I do is wholeness and balance, be it either body, mind and emotions, or individual and others around her/him, and the broader universe. I teach Personality Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Study of Lives and Narrative Analysis, Psychobiography, Clinical Skills and Ethics, Positive Psychology Paradigm in Psychological Consultation. My research focuses on master/alternative narratives, posttraumatic positive transformations, generativity and psychological well-being, The state/ dynamics of ambiguous loss and boundary ambiguity.
