Nicola has over 25 years of advisory experience and 20 years as a systemic facilitator and coach. A strategist at heart, she helped to draft the JSE’s 2022 sustainability disclosure guidance as part of the Incite team. Nicola has worked with leaders, practitioners and teams in 15 countries, exclusively in emerging markets. She was taught by pioneers of industrial ecology (Yale School of the Environment, 1994) and is certified in Shared Value strategy (with Harvard Professor Mark Kramer, 2013). She is training in applied complexity approaches with The Cynefin Company (founded by Professor Dave Snowden) as well as in Organisational Constellations with Feld Institut founder, Stephanie Hartung. A trained African diviner, her personal and team coaching work is informed by a 20+ year mentorship in the indigenous Majoye sangoma lineage. Nicola is a Senior Associate of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and visiting lecturer at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business and Trinity Business College, Dublin. An aspiring free-diver, she lives a short walk from the edge of the Great African Seaforest.
