Systemic Trauma Imagination
Mapping and Darning the Frayed Fabric of Connection
I offer a comprehensive introduction to Systemic Trauma Imagination in service of mapping, darning, and re-integrating frayed edges in the fabric of connection to self, others, and the world at large. I will conduct a session with a volunteer from the circle which will offer all participants the experience of contextualizing a new client’s systemic past, identifying pitfalls (vulnerabilities/fractals/loyalties), gathering life-giving gifts (talents/innate strengths/resources), and reveal signposts that signify ruptures across their Time-Space-Continuum (biographical/generational/ancestral/socio-cultural/historical). One signpost will be chosen for a constellating, aimed at increasing relational agency for the most imminently available fragment(s) in the client’s Inner World System, and including perspectives on expansive and deeper connections to other(s) and the world at large.
About Karin
I am a lifelong human trauma apprentice, a Family Constellation student since 1990, a nationally licensed German Heilpraktikerin & Family Constellation Facilitator since 1993, a US-trained Systemic Traumatologist since 2000, and a Systemic Trauma Teacher since 2013. I have worked across Europe, the USA, Canada, Arabia, and Australia, placing developmental trauma (‘little t-trauma’/complex trauma) as the central and formative ruptures in my clients’ culturally diverse ways of connection. Three decades of trauma studies with international masters, a BA in Behavioral Sciences & Human Services, and a MA in Theological Studies, as well as my ongoing artistic practice, have generated the Systemic Trauma Imagination that inspires my creative facilitation which I offer and teach to international groups (in-person and online), to individuals, and as self-guided trauma-mending practices.
