Co-owner, director and systemic facilitator at the Bert Hellinger Institute Netherlands. Studied Business Administration, worked over a decade in financial organizations in management positions in the Netherlands and abroad. Then she worked as independent mediator in organizational and family conflicts for 11 years until 2015, when the systemic work fully took her into service.
Barbara: ‘I am constantly curious to find out what the good (systemic) reasons are that things are the way they are. Zooming out to wider systems is part of my natural way of being and doing. Always ready to be courageous ánd vulnerable. Not afraid of harsh reality ánd in service of mildness and gratitude. I love to spread systemic work as a healthy virus (…) through trainings, workshops, constellations and coaching.’
She lives with her husband Michiel, three children and dog Tex in the beautiful old countryside of Texel.
Barbara: ‘I enjoy how the Texel sheep are hopping funny in the meadow and I feel vital, partly thanks to the year-round swimming in the (Wadden) sea.’
Barbara Hoogenboom, sinds 2015 mede-eigenaar van het Bert Hellinger Instituut Nederland, werkzaam als directeur en systemisch trainer en begeleider.
Ik studeerde een eeuwigheid geleden bedrijfskunde en werkte vervolgens ruim tien jaar bij financiële organisaties in managementfuncties in binnen- en buitenland. Daarna werkte ik ruim 10 jaar als mediator in zakelijke en familieconflicten, waarna het systemische werk mij volledig in dienst nam.
Ik ben constant nieuwsgierig naar wat de goede (systemische) redenen zijn dat de dingen zijn zoals ze zijn. Uitzoomen naar grotere systemen en dynamieken daarin maakt deel uit van mijn natuurlijke manier van zijn en doen. Ik weet zowel moedig als kwetsbaar te zijn en ben niet bang voor de pijnlijke realiteit die het leven ook met zich meebrengt. Ik voel me dankbaar als ik merk hoe de systemische bril bijdraagt aan mildheid en compassie.
Ik woon met mijn man Michiel, onze drie kinderen en hondje Tex op het mooie oude platteland van Texel. Ik geniet van hoe de Texelse schaapjes in de wei grappig huppelen en voel me vitaal mede dankzij het jaarrond zwemmen in de (Wadden)zee.
